Moss Signing With Patriots

Posted in USA Football by Todd on March 3rd, 2008

The New England Patriots and Randy Moss are finalizing terms on a three-year, $27 million deal, a source told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.

The two sides are currently in the process of reviewing contract details, the source told ESPN.

On Friday, Moss started to listen to offers from other teams. On Saturday, he explored possibilities with other franchises and even discussed the possibility of reuniting with his former Vikings teammate, Daunte Culpepper, on another team.

After taking a pay cut when he was traded by Oakland to New England last April, Moss had an outstanding season. He set the NFL record with 23 touchdown catches in a season and totaled 98 receptions for 1,493 yards.

He repeatedly has praised quarterback Tom Brady, who has said he wants Moss back.

Kevin Hart Picks CAL….Woops!!

Posted in USA Football by Todd on February 8th, 2008

Oh the saga of Kevin Hart. If you don’t know about him, Kevin Hart pretended to be recruited by Cal and Oregon to play football. He started this lie 6 months ago, and it came to an end. He admitted that it was a hoax. What a crazy hoax.

This kid is from a small town. He would have been the first kid recruited to play DI ball out of his highschool. It was a huge deal. Why didn’t any reporters talk to the coaches of Cal or Oregon? Kids show off their letters from top coaches. I did. I showed everybody. Local reporters talked to the coach who recruited me, why didn’t they do that to this poor kid.

I am not blaming the reporters, not one bit. Kevin Hart, now, won’t even play DIII ball. How can he show himself in public. Creating a huge lie. Lying to his parents, teammates, coaches, and friends. A lie that lasted 6 months. Kevin, I hope you turn out ok.
